  1. SUBAIR & HYDRONICS

All 18-hole greens and tees at Haesley are equipped with the Sub-air & Hydronics systems.

    Sub-air System

This is a system that inhales the air in the soil under the green or injects air into it through the drain pipe installed underground using separate air-generating facilities (vault) installed outside. The oxygen supplied to the soil under the green helps grass grow. It also prevents excessive moisture in the soil to enhance putting quality.

    Hydronics System

This system increases or decreases the temperature of the soil using the cold or warm water circulating through tubes installed underground. The Hydronic system, decreases the soil temperature in summer to reduce disease and increases the sole temperature in winter to extend the growth period and thaw frozen soil. The reason August National is called ¡°glass bead green¡± and it maintains the ideal green speed at all time is that it in stalled these system. Heasley is the one and only course in the world that installed these two systems in all 18 holes.

  2. SIGNATURE COURSE FOR ALL 18 HOLES

The founder Jay H Lee personally sketched all 18 holes by reflecting the holes¡¯ characteristics that inspired him while visiting the world¡¯s best courses and attractions. Moreover, a number of on-site simulations were performed with the designer in the design stage to realize the inspiration in the given geographical features. Haesley¡¯s unique courses were developed as a result. The 18-hole courses of Haesley are Signature Holes; players can experience exciting and challenging golf.
