The opening hole is slightly up hill and strait away with the landing zone guarded on the left with a large bunker to steer the player right off the tee. The preferred ball position is left near the bunker to open the approach to the green. The elevated green has a containment bunker back center of the putting surface with the right front green edge guarded with two deep pot style bunkers the putting surface pin positions.
